Make your own Day of the Dead marigold ofrenda. Each participant receives a round repurposed ceramic container and found objects such as jewelry bits, beads, paper and paint, plus celebrity images to choose from. You can also bring a photo of a loved one. Altars hang on the wall and can be left to become part of the Emergent Arts community altar. The project is self-led, and the community ofrenda goes up during the same hours, with volunteers welcome. Register at emergentarts.wildapricot.org/event-6816920.
