Artist Bio:
I’m a self-taught artist who has been painting with acrylics since my teen years. I have studied university-level art and art history classes. Since retiring from academia, I now devote my time to painting in my home studio in Arkadelphia: Ylang Art Studio.
Artist Statement:
“Hot Air, Plein Air” depicts an artist named Artemisa traveling the sky as a hot-air ballonist to search out exotic and colorful landscapes to paint.
