About Us

Collaborating and communicating while productively growing an eclectic arts scene is what draws us together.

The Hot Springs Area Cultural Alliance is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to celebrate, advocate, and promote the Arts in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

The culmination of The Cultural Alliance’s efforts are celebrated each spring with Arts & The Park, a 10-day arts festival. The Cultural Alliance also hosts quarterly networking meetings for area arts organizations to encourage communication and collaboration. The organization also promotes local events hosted by individual area artists, galleries, and arts organizations to spread the word about the myriad forms of art created and shared within our community.  The Cultural Alliance is comprised of area artists, arts organizations, and arts supporters with a desire to see the Hot Springs Arts community continue to grow and thrive.

In 2022, The Cultural Alliance in partnership with Hot Springs Area Community Foundation established an endowment to help ensure ongoing support of the organization’s mission. If you are interested in how you can contribute to the organization directly or through the endowment, please contact Mary Zunick at (501) 545-6960.

Arts & The Park

Arts & The Park is a ten-day celebration of the Arts in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Held each year in May, Arts & The Park features local and regional artists in a variety of different events including studio tours, outdoor festivals, hands-on workshops, poetry readings, live music, and theatre performances.

History: Independent artists and area arts organizations, at the suggestion of local philanthropists Dorothy Morris and the late Don Munro, formed HSACA in 2014. Quarterly meetings commenced that year, culminating in a “zero year” test-run Arts & The Park celebration in 2014. Its success, bolstered by the passion and enthusiasm of its member entities, along with the National Park, the City, and Visit Hot Springs, has given birth to the concept of an annual arts celebration in and around historic Hot Springs.
