Artist Bio:
Born in Shanghai, China, Longhua came to the US as an exchange professor. He quickly acclimated to life here in America. Selected by the citizens of Hot Springs to create the iconic “Mother Nature”, his art has become an integral part of the Arkansas landscape. He was named 2019 Arkansas Living Treasure.

Artist Statement:
These lands have been visited by Native Americans for millennia. These paintings depict their spiritual way of life and connection to nature.
