MAKING YARN WITH A DROP SPINDLE

Description:

In this class you will have your first exposure to twisting wool fiber with a simple spinning tool called a drop spindle. Making your own yarn is an old tradition that continues even in these modern times. Fiber artist, Donna Dunnahoe, will instruct students on drafting and adding twist to wool helping them create a unique yarn that can be woven, knitted, or crochet. The $25 class fee includes a drop spindle and fiber for the student to use in class and to take home so they can continue on their spinning journey. Class is limited to 10 students, ages 13 years – adult. Register and pay for class fee at this link:
