We The Arts
Hot Springs Area Cultural Alliance (HSACA), the City of Hot Springs Art Advisory Committee (AAC) and Hot Springs Public Works Department (HSPW) are collectively producing this outdoor exhibition of paintings, drawings, and/or photographs reproduced onto metal panels to be displayed along the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail as part of the Art Moves outdoor art exhibition. The opening of Art Moves marks the beginning of Hot Springs’ Arts & The Park 10-day arts festival, and the exhibition remains on public display for approximately one year.
The 2026 Art Moves installation celebrates the Americas as the United States of America celebrates its 250th birthday.
Art Moves: We the Arts celebrates the Americas by asking artists to submit work that reflects the theme through a focus on an artistic depiction of community, culture, family, architecture, nature, the everyday, or one-of-a-kind moments in the U.S.A., one of its territories, or continental neighbor. Applicants are encouraged to let their creativity soar, so visitors to the outdoor art exhibition can travel through a mosaic of the Americas along the Greenway trail.
A panel of jurors will select up to 25 works of art from the submissions for the ART MOVES: We the Artist exhibition. The selected artwork will be reproduced onto metal sheets that will be displayed along the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail
Trail including a QR code that links directly to the artist bio and statement about the piece on the HSACA website.
Area galleries may display the framed original artworks during the 10-day Arts & The Park celebration.

Art Ownership Clarification
HSACA will not, for example, use the artists’ images on mugs, tote bags, etc., to sell to the public without express permission from the artist. Images of selected art will be used on flyers and advertisements. HSACA owns the reproductions displayed along the trail and will auction the works to raise funds for subsequent Art Moves installations. Artists are welcome to bid on the reproductions during the auction but do not own nor are they entitled to physical works displayed along the Greenway Trail. HSACA is a registered 501(c)3 whose mission is to celebrate, advocate for, and promote arts and culture in the Hot Springs area. HSACA works in cooperation with the City of Hot Springs.
