About me:

I discovered my passion for Japanese culture and history at Florida International University in Miami, where I had the honor of studying under a mentor who taught Zen and the Art of Tea.
Following this transformative course, I pursued a master’s degree in Asian studies, graduating with top honors in 2016.
My journey then led me to Japan, where I received the prestigious Midorikai scholarship from the Urasenke Professional College of Chado in Kyoto. This scholarship allowed me to fully immerse myself in the world of Chado, or the Way of Tea, for an entire year, providing an invaluable opportunity for personal growth.
