About me:
After living in California, Oregon, Idaho, Wisconsin and Colorado, Shawna Elliott has lived in Fayetteville, Arkansas since 2003. Shawna’s busy days include: her 3 children, painting commissions, showing her art at national art shows, and teaching art classes and workshops throughout Northwest Arkansas.
I enjoy working with fluid acrylics. They are versatile, vibrant, offer almost limitless applications, and enhance my creativity by minimizing control. Creating art brings me better self-awareness, and I feel the most at peace with myself when I’m painting. I like to utilize the freedom of movement and intense color values of the medium to express the joy I feel while creating a piece.
