Coni started watercolor painting in her late forties. She loves bold, bright colors and has an eye for detail so she prefers to paint using photo references for any subject matter. She also enjoys graphite drawings and glass mosaics. She is very active in her community and happily donates giclee prints and mosaics to many philanthropic groups. Artist Statement: I heard this group playing dixie and jazz music at our county fair. Besides their music, I loved their bold colored costumes and the reflections of the sun on their instruments. I entered the painting in the fair the following year and won a ribbon.
