Artist Statement:
The Gurdon Light is a mysterious light believed to briefly glow above the railroad tracks in the rural area of Gurdon, Arkansas. Numerous ghost stories explain its origin. In “Gurdon Light”, I tried to convey the sense of the place through a restrained use of color, line and shape.
