The Dungeon

Dates Open: [67]

Description:

A concise production facility, the DUNGEON is in fact above ground, so named for keeping with my KINGDOM series of still lifes, in addition to being relatively dark due to the controlled lighting. Here my still lifes are conceived, physically set up, and ultimately painted from direct observation: typically 3 to 4 at any given time. Including a music recording studio, the DUNGEON is a playful, yet highly efficient environment for the production of fine art. Diana Garrison’s Crooked Little Studio is adjacent. Visitors are welcome.

Directions to Studio:

From Albert Pike, follow Thornton Ferry Rd. until it ends – “T-bones” – into Arrowhead Dr.: the lake will be to your left. Turn left onto Arrowhead Dr.; the road will become a bit of a winding roller coaster as it follows a cove (lake is always on the immediate left). Once rounding the cove, our home & studios will be on the right.
