Artist Bio:
Ken Haley practiced nature photography in Oregon from 2007-2015, where his
photos were exhibited in several art galleries and twice won awards at the
University of Oregon. Relocating to Hot Springs Village in 2015, Ken was
accepted as an exhibiting member with the Artists’ Workshop Gallery and the
Whittington Gallery in Hot Springs, as well as the Ouachita Artists Gallery in Mt.
Ida. Ken’s image processing has evolved into a style he calls “artography.”

Artist Statement:
This photograph depicts two girls enjoying a drum circle in Asheville, NC. The image reflects the spirit of “Let the Little Girl Dance,” one of Henry Glover’s signature songs, performed by Bobby Bland in 1960. The background pays tribute to the rich colors and bold strokes of George Hunt’s art.
