Artist Bio:
Faye Hedera is an artist living in Central Arkansas. She recently completed the ‘100 Faces of Conway’ project. In 2024 she plans to engage in disability advocacy work and will be publishing an illustrated fairytale book that celebrates all children.
Artist Statement:
‘The Persimmon Fairy’ is an original illustration from the children’s book ‘The Lovely Fruit Fairies’ by Faye Hedera, a joyful and sentimental collection of poems and images that include and celebrate children with disabilities.
