Artist Statement:
My coil-built pieces reflect nature: seed pods, stones, nests and shells. In my “Found Object” series, I incorporate the actual found items or the press molds of same. It’s an adventure for me to explore shape, form, mass and surface to aesthetically relate to the specific subject matter.
