Art Moves: Creative Roots
An outdoor art exhibit installed along the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail.
ONLY A FEW MORE DAYS TO SEE THE 2022 ART MOVES EXHIBITION. I will be taken down the week of April 17 to prepare for the new pieces to be installed for the April 28 opening of the 2023 Art Moves exhibition.
Hot Springs Area Cultural Alliance, the City of Hot Springs Art Advisory Committee and Hot Springs Parks and Trails collectively produce the annual Art Moves outdoor exhibition which is made up of paintings, drawings, and/or photographs reproduced onto metal panels and displayed along the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail. Artists were asked to draw inspiration from their own cultural roots and traditions OR our state’s collective cultural heritage for artwork they submit for the Art Moves: Creative Roots exhibition. 15 works of art were selected for the exhibition and reproduced onto metal signs which displayed along the Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail between Hollywood and Belding Streets.
QR codes affixed to the frames of each of the pieces to provide information about the artist, artwork and exhibition.
The new 2023 exhibition will open during Arts & The Park on April 28 and will remain up throughout the year.
