Description:

Cape Girardeau, Missouri artist, Craig R. Thomas and Italian artist, Pepe Gaka, have created public murals, and street chalk paintings around the world. They will give a presentation about their artwork and the process of creating public works.

Craig Thomas is a 2019 Arts & The Park Guest Artist and is creating a 20'x15' sidewalk chalk painting for Art Springs. Pep Gaka has created several murals in Hot Springs, including the Native American mural and the Garvan Woodland Gardens mural on Central Avenue. He is currently working on a mural celebrating the African American history of Hot Springs.
