Description:

Cape Girardeau, Missouri artist, Craig R. Thomas, is known for his fine art, murals, and street painting. He is a 2019 Arts & The Park Guest Artist and will create a 20'x15' sidewalk chalk painting for Art Springs. Craig will give a presentation about the many public murals and street art projects he has created throughout North America, Europe, and the Caribbean. This event will be informative for artists that are interested in the process of creating public works of art and for those who want to learn more about Craig — A Street Artist.
Craig is president of the The Visual Arts Cooperative which features 50 artists, he is on the board of the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri, board member to Cape Girardeau's mural committee, and he coordinates the Southeast Missouri figure-drawing group. In 2007, Craig with his wife, Elizabeth - photographer, opened the Black Door Gallery, which features individual and group art exhibits. CraigThomasArt.com.
